How do we treat it?

There are many causes of insomnia, and often the issues are multifaceted. Sleep is a time to let go of the events of the day and surrender to restorative downtime. Often, clients who suffer from insomnia have difficulty with relaxing in other situations as well. We will work with you to explore this issue, and offer remedy and supplement suggestions along with lifestyle counseling to facilitate restful sleep. There may be a hormonal imbalance that contributes to your insomnia, which we can test for and treat with a variety of remedies depending upon the cause. Nervous system hyper-excitability is often a factor in insomnia, and we will work with you to retrain your nervous system to let go at the end of the day and allow your body and mind to rest and get the restorative sleep you need for optimal health.
